Maui and the Sun Stories. As part of our Maori unit this term we have read Maori legends.
Maui and the sun
Once upon a time there were five boys eating their food and the sun is started to go too fast. Maui saw the sun race across the sky very fast and the boys didn’t get time to fish and eat their food. Maui told his brothers to make flax ropes. When the flax ropes were finished the brothers walked across to where the sun stays. The brother threw their ropes at the sun and the sun started to cry. The brother got time to fish and eat their food and they lived happily ever after.

The Kath Bee show
On a foggy Monday we walked to the Kath Bee show I was excited. First we sat down in a line. Next she sang One thing and Dragons under my bed. After that we sang a Maori hello song.
Some children got balloons and they made animals out of balloons. Later we had lunch.
My favourite part was singing Dragons under my bed.

The Kath Bee Show
On a foggy Monday room 15 walked and ran to the hall to see the Kath Bee show. Next we sang a song.
It was called there are dragons under the bed. The next song Kath Bee sang was you have food on your face.
Kath Bee had a flash red dress with a bee on the front and she had bright red tights on. Next she gave balloons out to the kids. Next she sang a good bye song. My favorite part was watching her.

The Kath Bee Show
Tuesday 6 August 2013 Kath bee show
On a foggy Monday room 15 walked over to the hall to watch the Kath bee show. First she sang a hello song. Next room 15 just listened. Next she sang a monster song so room 15 watched. Next Kath gave out balloons and she made them for some people. Every one enjoyed it and she sang food on your face and she sang Dad I want to be a camel. She let us do actions. She had a red dress and a yellow bee in the middle and yellow at the back and black shoes. It was time to go for her and the juniors so we walked to class then the bell rang and we had lunch.
My favourite part was when she sang songs.
